Decided to have a go at clocking my q6600, vcore 1.2750 in bios (this is the vid of my cpu). set fsb at 333, memory at 333 (1.1). Ram running at 2.1v 4, 4, 4, 12. The only other voltages ive changed were PLL, FSB termination and NB voltages to +0.02v. Tested with prime95 for 15 mins or so. Everything look ok before i push any higher. Thanks in advance.

Looks fine. Temps are good, tho we're not exactly basking in a heatwave over here atm.

Thanks cob. Im currently using an acf7 till i can afford something a bit beefier eg TRUE120E. also is it ok to leve the other voltages on auto.

Set the SB and PCI-E SATA voltages to +0.2v too. Also remember to set your memory to 0.08v less than it needs.

Thanks for that, concerning the memory voltage i currently have this set to 2.1v (manufacturers reccomended) for the timings im using. 4,4,4,12 so should i drop it a bit. it says on the sticks 2.0-2.2v

I would drop it to 2.02v. That'll give you 2.1v true.[/QUOTE below is a list of all my voltage settings as they are now.

cpu voltage 1.2750

cpu gtl v pref (0/2) auto

cpu gtl v pref (1/3) auto

cpu PLL V 1.52

fsb termination 1.22

dram 2.02

nb v 1.12

nb gtl reference auto

sb voltage 1.20

pcie sata voltage 1.60

This look ok.

It's a matter of personal taste tbh. I've left it disabled and just set a higher vcore in BIOS.

Think ill just leave it enabled for the time being. im only using the stock vcore of 1.2750 for 3ghz at the minute. dont want to push to far until i get beter cooling. very impressed with the board so far, bit different to the old 680i i had before as regards to ocing,:) but certainly a lot more stable even at stock

Whoa! Get 0803 on it before you go any further.

And don't use the Windows flashing utility.

Is 0803 more stable then, will have to dig out my usb flash drive. the asus windows flashing utility has always been dodgy. my nephew killed an a8nsli deluxe using it once:o

Yip 0803 is the best of the official releases. I'm testing 1102 atm and it seems fine, but it's still a beta.
