This old soundcard in new system?

HDA Digital X Mystique 7.1 Gold

It was a very good card for its time - is that still the case? Have things moved on much?

It's in my old system and want to know if it's transferrable. It has optical out and a Dolby Digital Live encoder with DTS,DTS-ES,DD-EX support.

I've just had a quick google, it looks like there are Windows 7 drivers.

As long as there are drivers it cant hurt to try. Windows 7 may even have its own drivers
