This Operating System?

I am thinking of getting this Operating System

But as it says, its a retail SINGLE, does that mean it can only work one time and even if you change the motherboard and other components the Operating System wil not reinstall again?

It seems to be a retail edition (because of the price mainly). The "Retail Single" will just mean you only receive one licence. But you won't be limited to one motherboard. Also note only the 32-Bit version is on the DVD and you'll need to contact Microsoft for a 64-Bit DVD.

yes i know its 32bit, but 64bit wont work with my pc because i dont have a 64bit enabled processor (amd athlon 6400+)

my mate lent me his version of 64bit vista and i installed it on a virtualbox and it wouldnt install because it said your processor doesnt have 64bit technology or something

Could that have been because you were running the "Virtual Box" on a 32bit OS?

I dont know if you can install an x64 OS onto a host system which is running on x86.

I think you need x64 host & x64 Virtual Box

And I believe you need to enable VT in the BIOS to virtualise the x64 processor in Virtualbox/VMware

where would that control be loacted on a asus M2N-SLI mobo?

I'd suggest Googling it, or checking your manual...

It won't work for some processors. For example my motherboard supports it, but my Wolfdale 7200 doesn't, so the option in my bios is hidden.

Just thought I would post to say that I have bought software from that seller before and it is full genuines sealed stuff so you have no worries on that front.

The delivery is fast as well

Thanks, its the cheapest i have found and the box looks cool lol
