I have htpc hooked up to my TV in living room but since I have a projector connected to my main pc in my office/ playroom/ cinemaroom I hardly ever use the htpc. Plus I have Fire TV stick now.
Most of the time it's my gf who plays Lego games or Sims on it. Thinking about moving it to my office and connecting it to my 2nd screen so we can sit next to each other and play games together. Would do spec below be enough to run games like The Crew and GTA V with 1060 at decent settings? I'd get more RAM and another SSD also.

Thanks

It may well hinder the performance of the 1060 but you could always upgrade the cpu to an I-5 later if your system struggles.

I've just bought an i3 for my htpc. Currently it's equipped with a 750ti but might be upgraded. The game I play the most is battlefront and benchmarks show the i3 matches an i7 at 1440p
