sound card and onboard sound, possible?
Hi. I've got a pci creative audigy card but unfortunately it doesn't support front mounted inputs/outputs (it doesn't have the pins on the board that these connect to).
at the moment i have the speakers connected to the green output but my speakers don't have headphone sockets.
what i want to do is enable my onboard sound card and use that for the headphones. I have tried enabling the onboard sound card but windows doesn't find it when i select add new hardware. if i disable the creative card then it comes up but it won't let me install it.
i haven';t gona as far as taking out the creative card.
surely this is possible?
