I have just got hold of an old Athlon 64 CPU frm a m8, which is nackered. Is is possible to remove the top of the CPU to get inside? if so how do I go about it?

just had a look at sticky & found what i'm looking for

looked at that link MeatLoaf thanks, & decided there is nothing that worth while under there, so i'm keeping the top case on
