hi i was wondering if it was possible to change audio settings somehow to game ingame sounds or a film im watching on wmp come out of my speakers and other things like voice comms come out of my headset?

Ive not tried it, but you can change the output source for both games/films/most voip clients. So potentially, you could set games/film to use speakers and then voip client to use headphones, but most mobos tend to isolate headphones only as soon as you plug them in

ive noticed that, and ive also noticed that if you open the game ect, then plug in the headphones, then open the comms it works, but wanted to see if it was a more simple solution like changing some settings
