this psu ok for this setup?

Rig is:

88gtx
4200+
2gig ram
1hdd
2 optical drives

Now im looking for a fairly cheap psu that will run this nicely and allow me to overclock, is the corsair 520 enough for this? as i cant really stretch to the 520w

also, been eyeing up the Tagan TG580, would this suffice?

The 520W should be fine OC'ing shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Is that 8800GTX, single or SLi?

You should be fine with corsair 520w... I'll receive my Corsair 620w early next week, can't wait!!

I'm running my setup almost identical to you with a 500w right now, it's working great
