Will the
G. SKILL
F4-3200C16D-16GTZR
Work with a Tomohawk B350 even if it's sk hynix.
I want RGB ram and having trouble finding suitable one.

It's on the list but I heard people saying it's not b die so it's a gamble. It's confusing

I can't find it on the list? The closest one is

F4-3200C16D-16GVRB

which is Ripjaws V using SK Hynix, but that is apparently running 3200 on the latest bios.

I would say it is a gamble as well.

Thanks so it doesn't have to be bdie as long as it's on the QVL.

Well that list is what MSI are claiming the memory is capable of running at. It is a question of whether you trust them.

You can see within the list a lot of the memory capable of running at 3200 are those with Samsung ICs which are single sided and 8GB in size (basically means they have 8Gb die).

Yeah I might just have a look through and go with a Samsung to be safe. I don't think RGB is worth the extra £50. Thank you for your help, I'm more confident now on decision
