This site doesn't validate - Does it matter?

I had nothing to do with the making of this site but since it's just been launched I wondered what some of the experts thought of it.

The design looks...OK, but it's using tables all over the shope. error No1.

I thought http://www.hopetech.com/ was the offical Hope site? out of interest...

The new site has some links to the original site. Maybe they are going through a transition phase?
