I am looking to order these components tomorro as my pc went bang. This is a temporary solution for me, i will be using this over the summer and building a completely new rig come september. Im wondering is this a good choice or if i should improve somewhere?
I want to overclock with air (and not too viciously), can some1 spec me a good air cooler for the e2160? Do you think the mobo / ram hold me back much?

I'll be using windows xp, with programs such as 3ds max, autocad and photoshop mostly, with a small bit of css :/ and want the system to run at least as good as the one in my sig!
I don't mind spending another 50 or so quid if it will improve the system a decent bit

Also, I have the Hiper R 580 psu... will this be capable of powering the above? Regarding power and this image of the mobo - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/pimg/MB-129-AB_400.jpg . Is that an 8pin power connection at the top right, because i don't believe i have a connection for that?

Cheers for the help!

yea, ill only be using it for the next couple months... but it will be handed to my siblings after and who knows what games they might want to play.

What about that 8pin connection at the top right of the motherboard? Is that a power connection because i don't have a connection for that with my power supply!

Bump, i hope to order in the next couple of minutes, can some1 please confirm whether the Noctua nh-u12 will fit on the Abit IP35-E... On the noctua website it doesn't list this mobo, should i just go with the tuniq tower?

Also, would the 4300 be worth the extra 20?

Cheers!

yep i ordered what was in original post with the noctua nh12...

Hipers known for blowing up? lol this is my second, hiper type r power supply... the first hiper busted out a few months back taking the mobo with it... i thought i had a dodgy power supply, i didnt know this was common with hiper
