Hi all.

Building this pc very soon after it being put off to buying house stuff :( lol

Right i have a few bits already for the new build.

motherboard (Gigabyte 790FXT-UD5P)

Case (Coolermaster CM-690 II Advanced )

CPU Cooler (Titan Fenrir xmas edition)

So was thinking this.




I hope the PSU would be ok to run a 5870 but i am still 50/50 if just to a get a 5850 as i don't mind overclocking.

But i would like to keep the card for a good 2 years or so and maybe the 5870 would keep up with games longer then 5850 would.

Looks good. Though I would suggest going for this RAM instead.

The PSU will be absolutely fine for a 5870.

Will you be needing any stuff like a DVD drive of hard disk, or have you got these bits already?

Oh yeah i forgot i had already purchased dvd drive and harddrive last week from OC :)

Samsung SpinPoint F3 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache

And

Samsung SH-S223L/BEBE 22x DVD±RW SATA Lightscribe ReWriter

I don't know if that ram going to fit unless i put in the other 2 slots away from the motherboard as the cpu fan sits right on top of the ram i have now.

And i take it the 5870 would be worth the extra if i keeping long term and crossfire later (with new psu i would think as well)

I was thinking of a 5850 but if i am keeping the card as long as 2+ years then maybe 5870 would last longer for games then maybe crossfire but i would need a better PSU then the OCZ 600 as well.

I am not sure of spending £144 on a 60GB hard drive whats the deal with it why does it cost some much lol


And i already have a new 500GB hard drive as well.
