just going to be doing some mini upgrades until i can afford the 2500k and mobo and will use this on my 955 and sell on my dominator to re-coup some of the cost.

just the voltage put me off it says 1.4 to 1.65 is that a general guideline or will it definitely work with sandy at 1.58 volts or less

The XMS3 is probably one of the most used memory on SB setups across the fourm - as it 'usually' can run at 1.5V.

OcUK have had some sets run at 1.35v.

Should be fine...I temporarily had a set in when I was waiting for some Vengeance to arrive, and it was fine. Pretty sure the auto voltage set to 1.59v, but - as that was well withing SB spec - I never fiddled with it.
As above, seems most people have no issues with this RAM in SB builds, and likely lower voltages will work too
