this temp hot hot

reached 78 degrees on last run of IBT. q6600 at 3.6ghz. it did pass the test though. Is this safe to be left?

What cooler are you using.

Temps are not to bad, a few deg lower would be nice

What vcore are you using for 3.6ghz, and what fan/s on the cooler?

i would say my room is average lol. its been a hot day and i did the test when i posted it.
my vcore is 1.45 accoridng to cpu-z but im pretty sure its 1.49 or something in bios. the fans are pretty **** but they do the job got 2 in a push-pull set up they are akasa cost me like £10 on ****** ages ago

The temps arent too bad, ibt tends to push temps a bit more than prime95, more powerful fans will help a bit, also as you say, try lowering the volts a bit.
