So i am currently looking to upgrade/replace my machine, i have a 290x and game at 1440p

Thinking of a Ryzen 1700x system, but i can't choose which 1080 TI to get, what's the warranty/RMA service like, do i just pick the cheapest?

£709.99 Gigabyte Aorus GeForce GTX 1080Ti "Xtreme Edition"
4YR Warranty
Core - 1632MHz
Boost - 1746MHz

£749.99 Asus GeForce GTX 1080Ti ROG Strix
3YR Warranty
Core - 1506MHz
Boost - 1620MHz

£769.99 - Asus GeForce GTX 1080Ti ROG Strix OC
3YR Warranty
Core - 1594MHz
Boost - 1708MHz

£769.99 EVGA GeForce GTX 1080Ti FTW3 GAMING ICX
3YR Warranty
Core - 1569MHz
Boost - 1683MHz

£769.99 Zotac GeForce GTX 1080Ti AMP Extreme Spectre RGB
5YR Warranty
Core - 1645MHz
Boost - 1759MHz

I am looking for good stock performance, but also the quietest of these cards as i am done with noisy systems

Thanks

Warranty wise EVGA should be the smoothest if you have issues, MSI gaming X is a good card too that you seem to have missed out, also consider a 1700 over a 1700x

Even with a three year warranty, if you're a regular upgrader, will you still have a 1080ti in three years time? a 980 was top of the line in 2014. Do many people still use a 980? I have one in my sons machine I must admit.

To be fair better warranties help with resale value if you go that route.

Im using the EVGA FTW3 1080ti. Its amazing, runs really cool and I have literally no use for the fans :P

Aorus, shorter and quieter , also 4 year warranty within the UK unlike Zotac- also the cheapest by a bit with the sale
EVGA is good for resale as they can Guest RMA
Strix does look good

Aorus for that price in my opinion. Gigabyte has good warranty and the card, cooler and board are top notch.

If you want it cool and quiet just rip the cooler off and stick some conductonaut on it. That will drop temps by several degrees from experience.

FTW is a very good card but for £70 more? That is your choice. EVGA has the best warranty though and the card itself is built extremely well from experience.

Drop it to a 1700 none X.
Get the Aorus Extreme

With the money saved either go the pub or put more memory into some decent memory like the 8 Pack 3200MHz kit which has being tested upto 3600MHz in the Crosshair 6 or put the additional money to a better mainboard, the Asus CH6 an Taichi are the best Ryzen boards for OC.
