Hi, i'm interested in the ... whatever it is @ 4GHz bundle you have on offer at the moment; this one: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...id=339&subcat=

Nice overclock - but is there any point in me buying this at all if I were to later upgrade to double the RAM? Apparently this will kill the overlcock completely by having 12Gb installed. Can someone explain why?

I understand that the HSF in with the bundle is about the size of a small combine harvester. I have a lian-li (I think... PC60 case... I'm not sure, I can't find an order history with it on, so it must be at least 3 or 4 years old). Will it even fit in there? If not, can you recommend a good/large (but not necessarily very expensive) case that would easily accommodate such a large heatsink bearing in mind the following:

I have two Optical Drives (SATA), 4 Hard Drives (normal SATA sized ones) and a PCI-E graphics card.

In the current case, the graphics card is almost in the way of some of the hard drives' connectors/cables.

My Abit IP-35 pro motherboard has 2 e-SATA connections, but it looks like the P6TD Deluxe only has the one... can you tell me how many internal connectors for SATA it has please? I could really do with 2, so perhaps this one is not for me? (unless it has 8)

Thanks very much.

Website says the P6TD Deluxe has 6x SATA.

As for more ram killing the overclock, more sticks means more stress on the mobo trying to feed volts to everything. You may get lucky by experimenting with different RAM kits but I don't think it's likely unless you fork out for a really high-end mobo.
