Just in need of some assistance here. Has anyone else got port forwarding to work on this router (or a variation)? It's a router I got from AOL ages ago. I since moved away from them.
I cannot for the life of me get it to forward ports. I have followed all guides, static IP set up and everything. Even with different combinations of choosing just UDP or TCP instead of both etc. Absolutely nothing. I have no firewalls on my PC and firewall on router is even disabled. The real thing that gets me is that the PS3 seems fine. Both upnp available and NAT type 2.
I can get ports forwarded on my Netgear DG834PN and working with no trouble. That's easy. If I couldn't with the Netgear then I would be thinking something is up. If you have somehow got ports open, I would appreciate pictures on how you entered the ports. Maybe I am missing something.
