Thor: Love and Thunder

Off to watch it Saturday morning, usually first shows are nearly sold out for Marvel stuff, this screening not even 1/4 full, granted some people probably staying away from cinema again due to covid cases rising again.

Watched it this morning in Screen X, I'd say nearly a 1/4 of the movie made use of it and this was first film I've seen in years where staff were actively walking up and down the screen looking for people on their phones or recording bits.

Enjoyed it for the most part, the goats started getting too much half way through but they kept going with it. It's like it wasn't sure what tone it wanted to be, we've got a great cold opening back story and a villain that is actually motivated and then we cut to all the Thor scenes that are over the top trying to be funny and then cut back to super serious, Bale didn't really get to do much god slaying which is a shame as I feel like they underused him at times.

With the after credit scenes will be interesting seeing when they can add Hercules into the timeline or save him for Thor 5 if we get it, the same with Jayne potentially becoming a valkyr.
