Thorney Motorsport

Pah I preferred my original thread title but oh well :p

Really hope this gets sorted, can't for the life of me understand why this guy parted with money.

I'm struggling to find a reason that Thorney could come up with for this. Even if the owner was impatient and demanded the car back, it seems far fetched. His posts certainly don't come across that way.

Whilst it's good that Thorney has attempted to get his experience across, the pictures don't lie. The work was awful. But if the mechanics have been sacked then fair enough.

Thing is, rightly or wrongly, and truthfully or not, duff work in these cases always gets blamed on the "mechanic that no longer works there".

It's an anonymous, silent scapecoat which is often used for black bag carpet sweeping exercises.

Not saying this is what old Thorney has done here mind.

Oh and I bought the first Chris Tullet exhaust for the VX which lead to John promising to supply anyone who wanted one a £200 exhaust manifold purely to teach him a lesson and attempt to ruin his business. Of course no such £200 manifolds were ever forthcoming.

I'd forgot about that ridiculous episode.

Fantastic way to run a business. Put it this way, regardless of his statement which is God knows how late, I'm glad he's not my nearest Jap specialist.
