Ok, so I've had my rig doing 2.62GHz for several days now, Orthos says it's stable (10hrs).
Today I come home from work and fancy some gaming. So I load up Starcraft (not exactly going to tax the CPU, memory or graphics). After a couple of hours playing I get bored and close down the PC. Around 10 mins later I decide to look some stuff up on the net so I switch her back on - only it hangs at the POST screen (or rather the white splash screen that my BIOS throws up)! So I clear CMOS and it boots. However, now anything but stock settings results in a 'CPU frequency incorrect' message and a failure to boot. I'm annoyed cos it took me all week to get it running that fast and now it won't even do 2mhz faster!
Can anyone explain/has anyone had similar problems?
Cheers guys
