Thorpe Park

My son is going on a school trip to Thorpe Park tomorrow.

I'm trying to get sorted in terms of what to send him with...

The website is not helpful - they mention:

The park being contactless - no cash - is that true? How can he buy drinks etc as he has no contactless card?

Food has to be "Sealed" - does that mean no sandwiches in cling film allowed in?

How much hassle is taking a small rucksack - I know you can't take them onto the rides, but is there somewhere he can leave a bag when he is on each ride?

Can he refill a water bottle?

Can he take his phone in a pocket onto the rides - I know the rule about no photographs etc.?

Quick responses would be great as I have to get it all sorted ASAP !

maybe call the school rather than a computer forum

Tried the school, but it was strangely closed at 11:30pm. LOL.

It is weird, he's 15, taller than his mum but I still worry about him. I guess he will always be "the little one" being the youngest.
