Those sticky little things

Hi there.

Watercooled my 8800GTS 640mb last year so had to take the fan off and peel off those little sticky RAM heatsinks etc (used the ones that came with my W/C kit)

Now thinking of selling the GTS and obviously want to put the lid back on so would like to know where I could get those little white sticky things and what they are called exactly?

While I'm at it - what should I upgrade to if I'm running at a res of 1680 x 1050?

Thanks for the replies...

...with regards to the thermal pads, do I need a paricualr type and are they available anywhere we can mention without getting into trouble? I'd get them from here but don't think they stock them...

...and the GFX card.... isn't the GTX meant to be slight overkill at 1680 x 1050 too? Am I talking myself into not upgrading at all and then not needing the pads (yet) anyway?

Is there going to be a massive advantage with the GTX over my present BFG GTS 640 o/c ?

Those thermal pads are a pain to get hold of, they're the quite thick white ones aren't they? They tend to tear when you remove them too.

Tell me about it.... you couldn't really save them, they almost disintegrate in your hand.

I don't think you can just use the thermal grease either.. read somewhere it's not suitable for the RAM chips
