Thinking about shelling out for this moniter as it looks pretty good, my original choice was going to be the samsung Samsung SM-225BW but i just cant make my mind up if the benq is going to be worth it for me.

I mean i "might" use the hd stuff, but not any time soon and by the time i need too i should imagine they will be cheaper, is it worth it in other areas ?

Also why do some sites say its 16ms and ocuk say its 6ms

and then there is the Dell Ultrasharp 2407WFP, dont like dell much to be tottaly honest, but it seems to do everything the benq does apart from the hdmi stuff which i dont really need

the HD aspect is more related to the resolution of the screen than anything else, offering a 1920 x 1200 res which will allow you to play true 1080i/p content in the future if needed. The BenQ and Dell are both very good screens certainly. The BenQ is using a 6ms G2G AU Optronics P-MVA panel, other sites may list it as 16ms, but perhaps that is the ISO quoted black > white response time, and not a reflection of the monitors responsiveness across grey transitions. More info on the FP241W available here which might help too :)

I am seriously close to purchasing one of these screens to compliment the rig in my sig, the 1:1 pixel mapping should hopefully have been sorted by the time I do go for one, so heres hoping :D

Yea they do look a bit good, i just cant decide if its worth the extra over the dell for me, there both good moniters at the end of the day
