after many questions and thought's i have deceided to sell my 2 asus radeon 4850's and go back to one card.

what are your view's on the said card as i will be getting it i a week or so after my 2 card's have been sold.

i have seen on the web that the 275 is on par with both my cards in crossfire but if there is any one here that has a 275 then can i have your view's on it please.

I have had mine a few months, I purchased for £150 and i can't complain. I have kept my old 8800GT 512MB for PhysX if i need/use a game that is compatible.

As i dont currently i am just on the 275.

The 275 will last me untill the 300 series is out for sure, if not longer!

Downgrade in performance to be honest. PhysX is a bonus that makes up for the slight performance hit.

This

A 4850 was not much slower than a 4870 which in turn is a match for a gtx260 which is almost as fast as a GTX275.

Therefore two 4850 in xfire should trounce a gtx275.

tbh honest whatever single card you get will be a downgrade in performance unless you plan to add quite a bit of money and get a 5850.

I am more than happy with my Gtx275 but i came from a single hd4850 so the jump in performance was worth it for me but i think i would wait a few weeks for the hd 5850 to come down in price:cool:

I think you would be looking at a GTX280 tbh, saying that can always overclock well you can what you have now

Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

how about one of those ?

i dont have the money to get a higher card and want to get rid of my card's as they are noisy and create a lot of heat.

Got a 275 recently, it is very good. Plays everything on maximum settings except GTA4 and Crysis, which play very smoothly on near maximum. It'll certainly last a good year;)
