I'm looking at buying a new graphics card, i like the look of the Gainward Geforce 9400gt 1Gb card, but i also noticed that Palit do one to, I'm not that up on which is the best? or is there any other better cards out there? I'm limited to £50.

Any help would be great;)

I doubt your going to find any noticable performace difference although I suspect the Gainward will probably come with a better warranty.

Have you thought about the ATI 46XX series, they're around the same price point but from what I have read they're quite a bit faster (depending on use and resolution!)
Facts to back up my statement:

Obviously this is only one review and you should check a few more to ensure it is accurate but it would seem a better bang for your buck!

But something second hand. 9400GT is ok for old games, like BF2, HL2, that kinda thing, but doesnt cut it with anything new.

Cheers for the advice, have only ever had Nvidia, so might be a nice for a change and try a ATI, Found a Palit 4650 512mb that's a decent price and seems to have quite high Clock levels of GPu and Memory. Though have spotted a Evga 9400 GT 512Mb that got shader speed of 1400MHz, That Any Good?

Get the HD 4650, its much, much, much better than any 9400.
Most should overclock past 800Mhz on the core too :) Great performance for ?50!
Oh and if your planning on hooking it up to a TV make sure it comes with the HDMI dongle.
