Cheap, which I want. I only go out now and again so don't need anything fancy. Its 14kg which is heavy?

I know it's just the most basic/cheapest road bike you can get but should be better than my current ancient Dawes 401?

I can't really go wrong?

14kg is mountain bike heavy - it's ludicrous.

Not for me I'm afraid - not with a barge pole - I'd rather spend £140 on something second hand that I won't hate with a passion after about 15 minutes.

The problem is that your going up to 300-400 for the next level bike.

It’s horrible don’t do it, I’ve seen decent road bikes from Trek, Specialized and Giant with Sora GS and under 10kg for under £200 on Facebook Market and ebay. Go second hand.

I got one of these off ebay for £180, immaculate condition in fact it had done less than 10 miles according to the owner. Can't fault it.
