Seems fairly solid, might be tempted to compare against an amd build could get similar performance for a little less money. I'm also not sure about that cooler. For similar money could get a high end air cooler that would out perform it.

Any recommendations on a different cooler, I was just looking into that now.

better off getting a gigabyte aorus - has better VRMs

RAM - Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz
Crucial Ballistix Sport LT BLS2K16G4D32AESB 3200 MHz, DDR4, DRAM, Desktop Gaming Memory Kit, 32 GB (16 GB x 2), CL16 - better choice

Cooler - EVGA CLC 120 RGB All in One - 120mm
you'd probably want a 240mm aio, rather than a 120mm aio.
if you're not to averse to sticking a lump of metal instead, the scythe mugen 5 is probably a better (and cheaper) choice.

SSD - Samsung 1TB 860 EVO
for that sort of money, better to get the corsair mp510 960gb. nvme m.2 ssd.
860 evo is extremely poor value for money

Well its got to be mentioned, yeah someone will pop up and say it can do a few more fps in some old game at 1080p while standing on one foot and whistling.
Meanwhile the 3700 or 3800 have twice the thread capacity and will take the 9700s trousers down and give it a scare with a cucumber every other day.

Thanks, I purposefully did not include anything listed as 'out of stock' on OC as it's difficult enough getting anything for any value delivered to Malta, won't find any already here.
