Thoughts on this head unit?

Been looking at this to go in my car: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/7-HD-DVD-...PSSystems&hash=item35b916296a#ht_20183wt_1344

Can't find much about it online but it does seem to be quite good from the advert, my car has a rather old Ford unit which doesn't offer much other than 6CD's, radio and phone BT (No audio streaming etc), sound quality is a bit pants too.

Does anyone know anything about it or the company? It's a lot of money to spend and find it sucks, or does anyone have other suggestions for similar (better) units? OEM look is a must for me but I know little/nothing about this kind of thing...

Quite often these units are pretty shocking, this doesn't seem to be any different.

That looks fantastic (On paper), as said, it's probably shocking. I'd pay the extra for a decent branded stereo or use the original.
Having said that a friend of mine bought a terrible looking stereo from a name we'd never heard of and apart from bieng quite slow and the sat-nav not working it was a fairly good stereo for what he needed.

I think the last thing I'd do to improve SQ is buy a cheap OMG IT HAZ EVERYTHING ebay headunit.

Was looking at one similar last year. I did a fair bit of research before I went and bought a Pioneer

As mentioned they do look good and have all the bells and whistles but they dont last
