For £500 theres not a lot better than that, i assume you already have HDD, optical drives and OS? But definately if u can squeeze it for £500, i5 is the way to go.

I use that cooler on my E6600 which is O/C to 3.2 from 2.4 and think the hottest I ever seen my CPU is 48c ..so I think its a great cooler and does the job fine when I upgrade to my next machine most likely a i7 will stick with this cooler unless I have problems. Which I dont think I will have.
