I am just about to drop what for me will be a lot of cash and my first brand new GPU in a long time (I usually buy second hand due to lack of budget but for this kind of price I decided not to buy someone else's problems as has happened in the past).

Im looking at grabbing the Zotac 1070 Amp Extreme when they come back in to stock ( https://www.overclockers.co.uk/zota...ddr5-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-104-zt.html ) but recently with the new AMD Vega unveil and rumours of the Nvidea 20 series being released in a few months its got me wondering if I would be best to sit a little while longer before jumping in.

Whats everyone else's thoughts on this, and yes I fully understand the speed new products come on the market you just have to jump in sometimes or you would wait forever but would it be worth waiting this time.

I currently have a temperamental MSI gtx 760 that likes to blue screen once in a while but was thinking I might be better to hold off a little bit longer.

Just get what you need now. NO point waiting as theres always something round the corner isnt there! Ive just upgraded from a Palit 1080 to a Palit 1080ti and even I feel the difference there so you will get a very nice boost in power. I would recommend the Palit 1080/1080ti to anyone as well as its the quietest card Ive ever owned by a mile and the fans dont even kick in until it hits 60 degrees. Its also one of the cheapest in the 10 series cards as a nice little bonus as well.
