Im thinking of buying
EPoX EP-8NPA-SLI,nForce4 SLI,Socket-754,
GeForce 7600GT 256MB,

= £200inc VAT

I dont want to spend a fortune on graphics. As i only really play BF2.
A faster CPU doesnt worry me really, as its about about GPU these days.

I could probably sell my current motherboard and AGP 6800GT for about erm, £150ish

Im mainly doing this coz Ive had the same old PC now for what seems like ages, and i 'm bored. :)

I cant really find any decent benchies comparing a 6800GT to a 7600GT, But I'm thinking it will be a little performance boast, certainly £50's worth. And I could always get another 7600GT for SLI when they drop to about £100 in a couple of months.

What you reckon?

Edit: Ahhh.. Will i also need a new PSU for PCI-e?? (got an Antec truepower 380W)

You can get adapters for PCI-E easily enough but you'd almost certainly need a new PSU for SLi. I haven't seen any comparisons between the cards though so I can't help you there I'm afraid, it does just sound like a change for the sake of it though :)

The 7600GT's dont need an external power supply, so the splitter things aren't needed.

Without AA and AF the 7600GT is an awesome card, it's faster than a 6800U and x850XTPE. Well recommended.
