Their good radiators and are copper and brass core same as the EK, although not sure what aluminum housing means in the EK description.

EK radiators have a shell on the outside (like most brands). It's just that they're removable for cleaning, painting etc. So maybe that's why EK have chosen to specify. I think the shell is usually steel or aluminium.
 
Had one on my previous build. Worked perfectly fine. They're quite long though, so take into account their a bit longer than a standard 360mm rad.
 
I've used the 280mm version of the XSPC X-Flow rad, all worked well enough and exactly as in the OP's use case, this really helped cut down on tubing runs and neatened things up.
