Thoughts please on this kit?

Ok so been offered the following

Samsung 48" JU7500
and
Samsung HW-J6500

I prefer LG kit myself. But these have come up on a rather good deal and I am tempted.... Anyone got either of the above? Good units? I am googling review's as well as posting this before anyone says search for reviews. I start a new job next month so just looking for treats for the family :-)

4k on a 48" worth it?
Curved worth it?

I would say both 4k and curved are not worth it, 4k just isn't ready yet and curved is only any good if you have a living room lay out where everyone sits in the sweet spot and a very big screen!

Hmm for my living room only 3 out of 6 seats have direct line to the tv. Other 3 are in the corner. There are some other tv's available in the deal I have been offered, 55" JU7000 etc. All 4k screens. But the JU7500 deal has the better sound system with it.

What are the other features? It might be worth doing pros and cons for each model.

I wouldn't pay £500 for a Samsung soundbar, I had one of their home theatre systems some years back and it was rubbish. That sort of money will get you something good.

Edit: If it's a deal that's different, but point is it's not £500 worth of audio equipment in the first place so don't be fooled by it.
