thoughts please potential new car inside...

Standard questions:

- Do you do enough miles for a Diesel?
- Why spend £10k on a focus when a £6/7k focus will be very similar?
 
yes on miles, will have this car for 6-7 years so fancied a slightly new model hence the price, with it being the sport it has a few gadgets which are nice.
 
Almost £10k on a mk2 Focus?! No way would I pay that much when you can get a decent one for probably half that. £10k will get you a nice mk4 Mondeo which is better in every way.

There is nothing that Focus will do that an older Mk2 won't. Other than lose money faster of course.

It's not a slightly new model, it's a 2004 model, the very last of them. Buy the current model if you want to spend £10k on a Focus. That one is no different to a £3k one except for the numberplate.

It's an inferior car to your 10 year old Mondeo, as your Mondeo is the higher model of the SAME generation as that Focus!
