I take it a lot you guys on here love the Tactical team based shooter games. Then you really need to check out this game :D
Been having some great games on this, with people playing has a team.

Its a Completely free FPS game and its in open beta... One down side :( it has a high System requirement for its beta stage.

Considering it's AA, the most important aspect will be the gameplay rather than the graphics, because AA3 had pretty poor gameplay.

But I'll give it a go anyway.

It really is superb, the feel of the guns and player moment is one of the best I have played.

The player moment on BF3 was the best for me but this beat it in every-way. The gun shooting in the Arma was my game of choice but I think this again tops it :D
 
Good fun so far!

Though im turning Headbob off before I puke :D, Killed a guy right away with a headshot :D
 
Ooh downloading this.

Played AA1 and AA2 a great deal (actually got to 100 honour). I didn't get on with AA3 but willing to give this a go.
 
Downside So far

1) Fov is very LOW!
2) Headbob is Bad
3) Low player server max, only 24! You end up stuck in spectator mode waiting :(

Upsides

1) Nice graphics
2) Smooth gun control
3) Easy to set up
4) Good player numbers
5) FREE? :D

UPDATE that FOV setting is actually for the engine-editor [UnrealEd.EditorEngine], I wondered why it looked the same!

Also regarding Headbob

As for the option to disable camera bob, I haven't put too much thought into it. We've been trying to find a sweet spot. I want camera bob, because it accentuates the movement and makes it feel more visceral. But we can't have too much, or some people start getting sick. It's a very subjective topic, and it's quite difficult to make everyone happy.

So basically, the developer likes headbob so he kept it in, not what everyone else actually wants

Very very true.

I use to play AA Many years ago in its early stages and AA2.5 was brilliant.

AA3 sort of lost its touch and started to become more arcade like than what actually made it what it is.

I was looking at this version and might give it a go seeing as its free but If that's not before the release of BF4 then It wont be ever haha.

2) try disabling it in settings? while in game press esc and I think its under game options
3) use the server browser not quick join.

FOV I not a fussy person on this to me its fine :D
