I'm new here - so perhaps I don't understand the rules perhaps.

Why was the thread 'Institutional Racism???' locked?

No-one had broken any of the rules or been disrespectful as I could tell.

I appreciate someone had noted this had been discussed at length previously - but this thread was based on a news item based on a decision taken today and therefore was a relevant topic to discuss?

There are thousands of posts on this forum - should I have looked for a previous thread to add to?

Because topics like this cause people to start being nasty and posting hateful comments, which then need removing.
