Hi,
I bought a 2nd hand bay res, which unfortunately came with one of the outlet ports a bit mangled (Acetal).
I had only rebuilt the loop last night so have not been able to check for leaks yet but wonder how is people experience with sealing in cases like this?
I can see about 1-1.5 threads (at the bottom of thread length) that are usable and when I finally made the plug fitting arrive fairly square and compress the o-ring it 'felt' decent enough. Under pressure it may be a different story altogether though..
One of the potential options is to get this port opened up to G 3/8 (if you have tools or know a guy
) but I only found a single Koolance G 3/8 male to G 1/4 F adapter..
