I recently brought some 'Team Group Xtreem "8Pack Edition" 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 PC4-25600C14 3200MHz Quad Channel Kit' with the intention of speeding up my PC - which it has.

I use this particular setup almost exclusively for HVEC encoding raw 4K (2160p 50fps) video files (which is very time consuming), adding the above RAM has decreased encoding time, and I was wondering if I brought another set to up the RAM to 64GB would I see further improvements in encode time? and would a separate 32 GB pack be stable/compatible with my existing one?

For ref. my set up is as follows..

Asus X399-A motherboard
1950X Threadripper OC'd to 4GHz
Noctua NH U14s TR4 with additional push/pull fan
8Pack Edition" 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 PC4-25600C14 3200MHz Quad Channel Kit
Samsung 4 TB 860 EVO
EVGA Geforce GTX 1060
EVGA 650 GQ

Thanks in advance,

Thanks for taking the time to reply,

I'm using around 30% of the RAM, the reason I asked was because I went from 2 x 8 GB of RAM (same speed and timings) to 4 and this increased the encoding speed. I presume as I was going from a duel to quad channel kit, I was hoping the same would be applicable going to a 8 channel kit.

Thanks in advance
