Threadripper cooling

Currently have a 1920x on a Zenith Extreme being cooled in by Nzxt X52 (limited to 240mm) using Nzxt AER RGB fans. The CAM controller is reporting widely varying CPU temperatures, jumping up and down between 40c - 60c+ for no apparent reason - it does seem to be a threadripper thing.

Obviously this is playing havoc with fan curve and annoying the hell out of me, also any form if overclocking is out the question as the x52 doesn't have the cooling capacity.

Thinking for changing to -

Any thoughts / views?

So I did order the Enermax Liqtech TR4 240 - it totally outperforms the NZXT on TR4. More consistent and much lower temperatures, the qfan control on the Zenith extreme leaves a lot to be desired by had a another fan controller which was much better.
