I need to find a graphics card that will run 3 displays:

Ideally one DVI and 2 HDMI or 2 DVI and 1 HDMI display

Resolutions: 1600x1200 (old 20" TFT)
1920x1200 (24" TFT)
1920x1080 (50" plasma TV with HDMI)

Any suggestions ?

A ATI card requires you to use an "active" displayport to DVi or HDMi adapter to enable three displays - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CB-000-XF&groupid=1929&catid=1757&subcat=

So the above adapter will allow two DVI and one HDMI on a ATi card with a mini-displayport.

Or you can try an find one of these,

Which dont need adapters at all.

Can I support different resolutions?

All monitors running in a Display Group or cloned modes must be running with the same resolution. If monitors have different native resolutions, the highest common non-native resolution between the monitors will be used when creating Display Groups. Monitors running in extended desktop mode can have independent resolutions.

This only applys if you run a display group, to group all three moniters to act as one single moniter.

I could be misunderstanding, but i took from the OP that he just wanted three monitors to work, not to run all three as one display? As you wouldnt be asking about different res if you was running eyefinity.

Edit..................
Gotta love reading the 10 words in that quote after i clicked reply!

You can run each screen in different resolutions if you're not running in Eyefinity mode and simply extended mode. It's only Eyefinity that requires all the resolutions to be the same as it merges them all to a super large resolution, while extended allows each monitor to be used independantly.

And will this card allow me to use:

1 monitor on display port
1 monitor on DVI
1 monitor on HDMI

Without buying anything extra ?

It would appear that it would, but I would like to make sure before dropping the cash...

I've been an idiot. I had assumed that my MoBo only had one PCI-E slot. It has two :-)

So I've been able to slip a old low power passive cooled nvidia card in and now have the setup I wanted running well.

But a big thanks to all the help people have given.
