Three early upgrade offer

Had a text from three the other day and it was offering 30% discount on an early upgrade fee if you sign up to one of their selected 24 month contracts with the Galaxy S5 before the 31 Aug 14. They calculate the "early upgrade fee" on two things: how many months left on the contract and the monthly plan. I think it's exclusive for S4 owners only.

Has anyone took up three's offer for the S5 and what selected deals are they as I've got 11 months left on my current contract and paying £35.70 p/m ;)

Wouldn't mind trading my S4 :D

Standard practice for most providers. The early upgrade fee is the same thing as your contract termination fee. Effectively they're asking you to terminate your current contract, offering a discount on the termination fees in order to get you to recommit for a further 24 months, usually with a more expensive monthly fee.

I don't mind signing a new 24 month contract, just don't fancy paying more than what I'm on p/m tbh :p; however, selling my S4 will take most of the hit of the upgrade fee though when and if I sell it, plus it's worth £140 on the three website :D
