Im after some advice/information about how to go about building the best towers using the available parts and buying new where needed. Atm im wanting to build three towers for myself and my two bros, they will most likely have varying degrees of power as two of us game quite a lot and other just abit.

What i have hardware wise lying around is:

ASUS GTX580 (triple slot cooler) - been faultless and still works great
8GB of usable RAM
i5 - 1156
i3 -1156
Corsair AX750 PSU
Corsair 450 PSU X2
An 120GB SSD
Multiple HDs from 500GB to 2TB
And some good quality CPU coolers, although will probably need to get something Low-profile.

I'm wanting to build two very uptodate machines and one just as best as possible, all with an SSD & 8GB or ram, as i think the SSD will really help. All have serviceable 24'' monitors (1920x1080), and afaik not complained about cpu power just gpu (both have 5850s)

Budget is around £2000 at the moment with about £400 of that being three FTO3 as i love the shape and footprint, so £1600 for just the internals. If i can get three really great systems with that (gpu/mb/cpu/ram) then that would be great, but one new build and two best possible could still work.

Any help would be most welcome thanks :)

This is what i came up with:

YOUR BASKET
2 x KFA2 GeForce GTX 670 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £199.99 (£399.98)
3 x Intel Core i5-4670K 3.40GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail £197.99 (£593.97)
1 x Silverstone Fortress FT03 Tower Case - Titanium (SST-FT03T USB 3.0) £124.99
2 x Silverstone Fortress FT03 Tower Case - Black (SST-FT03B) £119.99 (£239.98)
3 x Gigabyte Z87M-D3H Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard £97.99 (£293.97)
2 x Plextor M5S 128GB Solid State Drive - (PX-128M5S) £79.99 (£159.98)
2 x Patriot Viper "Black Mamba" Generation 3 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-17000C11 2133MHz Dual CHannel Kit (PV38G213C1K) £65.99 (£131.98)
3 x LiteOn DL-8ATSH Slim SLOT Black 8x DVD-RW SATA Optical Drive £26.99 (£80.97)
Total : £2,058.88 (includes shipping : £27.55).

Obviously there in multiples but it give you

2 rigs with 4670k, 8GB of 2133Mhz RAM, 128GB SSD's and GTX 670 running on your 450W PSU's.

And 1 rig with a 4670k, Your RAM, Your SSD and your GTX 580 on a 750W PSU (as the 580's need more power.

I included the cases. :)

Good choice in the FT03, I love mine. It's was very fun to build in cos it is so different, and somewhat challenging.

But do you really want 3 of them? What like one of each colour? I would personally buy 1 FT03 and look around for some variety (eg prodigy m or cubetek)

Also, the FT03 has loads of room to fit large CPU Coolers. The non modular PSU will be a pain but very possible (mine is non modular).

In terms of CPU/motherboard, I would buy new cos sourcing a 1156 matx motherboard will be pretty hard, let alone 3 of them. Plus most likely not have SATA3 on them.
