Three mobile broadband inf upgrade

Hi All,

I wonder if anyone else has experienced this. Three have updated their 3G network down here recently, and my mobile broadband speeds have increased *massively*. In the past I'd rarely top 100KB/Sec and now I'm downloading w7 RC at 298K/Sec.

I normally top out around the 150k/s mark ....but your downloading a 3gb iso over 3G :eek:

Yep! Working fine to be honest just over 700MB down so far without a problem! I don't what they've done to the network - but whatever it was, it's worked!

Network upgrades - simples.
Orange were supposed to be going for up to 7.2Mb here in Bristol this summer but it got put on hold due to lack of funds amongst other stuff.

I get 4.5-5Mb in Birmingham and a latency of 120ms. I get an extra half meg if I sit by the window though

my 02 one connects at 7.2mb but i rarely get that and latancy is all over the place

although saying the above, ive been holidaying near dymchurch and can get diddly squat on the 02 mobile one. nadda nothing zilch.

how ever 3 has saved the day, say what you like about there cs but in every other way i find them superb
