Hey guys,

I can't find a decent answer on this, that doesn't involved multiple monitors for 3D Surround (ie just extended desktop).

I want to attach a third monitor to my GTX 670, but NOT for gaming, just as a secondary (or tertiary I guess) display, for internet/videos etc.

Can the GTX 670 handle three monitors? I'm currently using the DVI ports, so I have one HDMI port left.

Yeah a single 670 should even handle gaming on all 3 screens (1080p) though it may struggle with the new AAA titles. As long as you set it up right. Games running on 2 screens rather than 3 you should be fine.

Another tip with a 670 (unless you already know) they love their memory bring overclocked give much better performance than core overc locks alone.

Mime is OCed from 6000mhz to 7000mhz+ and my fps in certain games has rose by 15%-20%.. Mad eh?

This will work just fine. I run 3 screens for NV surround on a GTX670 and it works just fine.
You can use the HDMI for your 3rd screen.

Ace, thanks guys :)

Well, my 670 is stock overclocked to 1066 MHz GPU clock, 1552 MHz memory clock :) Might see what I can do memory clock wise for more performance thanks :)
