Hi Guys, just did a search for this and it didn't a relevant result so sorry if I missed it :)

I am going to be buying the Nvidia 590GTX within the next 4 weeks so I am going to make use of the 3DVI's and switch to a 3 monitor set up.

I am looking at getting 3 24inch monitors

Requirements:

1) Good picture quality / contrast
2) ideally 120hz (not essential though. I am not going 3D yet.
3) 1080p
4) No more than £200 each
5) well built as possible for the money, reliable etc.

I was looking at the Benq range.

Is that the way to go do you think, or could you suggest a better trio of monitors?

Also does anyone know if overclockers are planning to do any triple monitor deals as this seems to be the way forward these days?

Thanks Guys

Marv

Samsung B2430H £179:99p @ OCuK Stock Code: MO-133-SA.
Superb monitor, can't fault it, I have one.

The Samsung P2450H £219:98p @ OCuK Stock Code: MO-124-SA is my favourite choice, I have three of them, the response time is a little quicker at 2ms, but I can't see the difference between the two.
Yes, it's slightly over budget, but the image quailty is superb.

Okay guys, thanks for the advice.

Nightglow, I am loving the P2450, it is now on my shortlist unless anything better comes along.

Many Thanks

This thread confused me so much... I was just thinking 'I didn't make a thread in the monitors section did I? But no, 'Marvlin'. Phew, my memory is saved... :D

And, on topic, I'd get 3 Dell U2311H monitors, which can be had for just under £200 each, are IPS, so have excellent image quality and clarity, good colour reproduction etc, are very well built with an excellent stand allowing for height, tilt, rotation and angle adjustment and are 1080p. They are not 120Hz though, but even with a GTX590 I suspect many games are not going to break 60fps at 5760x1080.

+1 to the U2311h's
you can try out portrait eyefinity then as well which works really well on non-triplehead games and also movies, as it's about the same aspect ratio. you also get a more immersive experience due to the increased height so it is't like you're looking through a letterbox in some games

landscape for racing sims

portrait for RTS, movies etc...

either would work well with RPG's like oblivion/skyrim

Surely triple monitor can't be good for films?

Just asking?
