ok i have an ati sapphire 5870 gpu, on the back it has two dvi, one hdmi and a dp connecter.

i want to run three screens but not in eyefinity i wish to extend my primary screen to the other two.

i have two BenQ G2222HDL 21.5" Widescreen LED Monitors full HD 1080p and a samsung 40" full HD 1080p lcd tv.

i have the samsung in the dp port using a converter which is fine and it works 100% and the benq's using dvi.

in ccc, which is the latest and so are all the drivers, it recognises all three screens but i for the life of me cannot get it to extend to the third screen (the samsung).

can some one please help,

many thanks

Can you not do it throught the windows setup thingy? Right click on the desktop and select screen resolution?

Is the DP adaptor active? If you can't get three screens active at once it sounds like it isn't.

I've done it before with a non active DP-VGA adapter.

mines going to hdmi which seams to be the issue! all the youtube vids show dp-vga dp-dvi no dp-hdmi!

oh well i think i will have to just keep using ccc to reassign which screen i want to use! or pay £25 for an active dp-dvi cable
