Three - Torrenting?

I tried to use uTorrent on my Note 2 today - immediately my data was blocked, when I tried to use the browser it took me to a warning page about Tethering (I wasn't tethering, it was an app). Is there a way around this? I saw ttorrent allows protocol encryption, but its a paid app.

Ttorrent is free but has a limitation of 250kb/s for free version and unlimited for paid.
I paid for it and use forced encryption works like a treat!

This. I pay for a vpn for all my downloads these days. Make sure you get one that doesn't store server logs, otherwise it defeats the point

I have this problem with three and couldn't find much information on it, it's not tethering but Three treats it as if it is, annoyingly. It didn't bother me too much as I was only curious as to how fast the data was, but if there's an answer I'd be interested in it.

I don't really want to pay for a VPN or use NZB. I'll try ttorrent - failing that I might get in touch with 3 - I don't see torrenting specifically limited in their T&Cs.
