Hi All I have been reading about the throttling the BT Infinity & VM etc do on there broadband ,but what i want to know is if there is a way around this ,if so what ?? and i don,t mean go to an isp that doesn,t do this either :) any views thanks

I don't think you can get around it. They throttle you on peak hours if you download to much and usually stays throttled until 12AM. (From what a friend told me!)

yeah thats what i thought , but can you use a free VPN Service i,ve seen on the net ?? do they work ?

Throttlign around peak times and from what IO've read recently heavily throttling P2P traffic.

sky Fibre should be out soon with no STM/FUP :)

VPN will only stop them throttling specific traffic. If you go over a certain threshold of total bandwidth they may well throttle you for a few hours anyway, and encryption & VPNs won't fix that.

Ultimately your traffic still has to travel over the ISPs network even if it goes via a VPN.
