Has anyone picked up one of the new Thrustmaster AVA bases, it seems to be a upgrade over the Warthog Hotas etc.
I'm looking for a flightsim stick with a bit more quality than the plastic Thrustmaster TCA and wondered if people had experience etc

I've not read anything bad about the AVA, but it has arrived at a rather difficult time for TM.
We already have high quality metal bases from VKB, Virpil and WinWing. I get the impression that there's probably not a huge amount in it, so if it's going to be from them, maybe focus on the grip options.

Additionally, the first vaguely sensibly priced force feedback base has started to arrive from Moza, with more manufacturers expecting to launch soon.

Not heard of the Moza so I'll def check that out as that sounds interesting depending on price and if not sounds like there is plenty of choice otherwise. I would mainly be interested in Airliners and GA flying.

For GA, also have a scan at the new Virpil Yoke and the Honeycomb kit.
The Honeycomb stuff seems to be well thought of.

Thanks, I already have the Honeycomb Alpha Yoke for Airliners etc but fancied something else for other aircraft etc, there appears to be a few options I need to do some research on.

I would go for Virpil WarBRD base, I have mine for years its so smooth and very good quality. https://virpil-controls.co.uk/vpc-warbrd-d-base.html

Thanks, I'll def put this on my list to look at, looks ideal for my needs a bit cheaper than the AVA.
