TH8 RS Shifter is due out in 2nd half of October for about £130

new F1 wheel rim due Sept 23rd according to some for £150 if you allready have T500 base - no official statement from Thrustmaster yet, just info from Will Buxton's Twitter http://twitter.com/#!/willbuxton

Have to say that looks awesome, similar to the new fanatec range coming out with the hot swapping of the wheels.

Wish the T500 could play on the 360 aswell do any games on the PS3 actually support the T500 other than GT5?

dirt3, f1 2011 support the t500. only the games that were released prior to the the T500 aren't supported, i doubt any have been patched, but i could be wrong

am sure any new PS3 release will support the t500 since it is an official PS3 wheel like the logitech dfgt. in fact those are the only 2 official wheels which are fully supported on PS3. the T500 is also compatible with PC titles

too bad about 360 compatibility, but if you have a ps3 and/or pc then t500 all the way

I prefer Forza over GT5 if I'm honest so unfortunally for me the GT2 is the only wheel for me. I wish these things were a little bit cheaper so I could own both I'd love to try out the t500.

With the shifter am I right thinking this will be table clamped? Wonder if any cockpit rigs will come up with a holder like the Gamepod GT2.

yes you can clamp the shifter. pretty sure Ash from Gamepod will make a holder for the shifter. he designed new shifter mounts this year for both the fanatec and logitech. (on side of seat and other next to steering wheel)

I saw them but didn't want to have to buy the butt kicker plate aswell so I might get one of the new gear shift mounts that GamePOD are selling for the Fanatec shifters whilst it's £30.

Andreas Nie traveled to Monza, Italy to get footage of the joint press event by both Ferrari and Thrustmaster.
